Job SummarySeeking a Specialist with 7+ years of experience in MySQL database administration and Linux environments.
Job DescriptionManage and maintain MySQL database environments ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Utilize AWS Database Services for cloud-based database deployments and management. Administer Windows Server and Red Hat Linux systems supporting database infrastructure. Implement security measures to protect database integrity and control access. Perform routine database maintenance tasks including backups, patching, and upgrades. Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot issues to enhance system efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application database requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations and procedures.
- Install, configure, and maintain MySQL database management systems.
- Ensure database performance, availability, and security standards are consistently met.
- Perform database tuning and optimization to improve performance.
- Monitor database health and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage database access controls and permissions.
- Develop, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational security protocols.
- Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database schemas.
- Provide support and training to users and stakeholders on database-related topics.
Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
