Manager, Credit Strategy – Auto Finance Analytics (Irving, TX) (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking a Manager, Credit Strategy for our Auto Finance Analytics team. This role provides the opportunity to drive significant business results by leading key projects and contributing to the innovation, creation, and launch of value‑adding products that leverage both internal and external data resources.
- Drive strategy development and execution for credit risk, pricing, valuations, and dealer/channel analytics.
- Leverage analytic tools (SAS, SQL, MATLAB, Python, and optional R) to build, test, evaluate, and maintain robust data analysis and reporting for management to make timely, informed decisions.
- Design, recommend, document, and execute consumer underwriting, product, channel, and customer experience strategies to improve the lending portfolio.
- Partner with leaders to define business priorities, align resources, and communicate progress to executive leadership.
- Analyze data, validate assumptions, and develop volume growth and profitability strategies.
- Integrate response and underwriting models into marketing programs and continually enhance scorecards.
- Prioritize initiatives, translate strategic priorities into actionable projects, and manage expectations with the management chain.
- Elevate team talent through mentoring, coaching, and collaboration with associates.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science). Graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data‑driven analytics environment; consumer lending experience preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of advanced analytical experience using SQL, SAS, Excel, and relational/database querying; knowledge of R, Hive, Python, Oracle, or Unix is a plus.
- Strong project leadership and ability to present findings to senior management.
- Innovative, analytical problem‑solving skills with a willingness to learn new areas within the business and take on diverse projects.
