Role Objective

The Wholesale Power Market Lead will manage IT operations for the client's Wholesale Applications, including incident management, release management, and batch operations. This role requires expertise in the US Power Market, delivery excellence, and hands-on experience in IT service delivery within commercial trading. The candidate will work directly with the client on-site in Irving, TX.

Key Requirements for Candidates

US Power Market Expertise

• Minimum 7+ years of experience and a deep understanding of the US Power Market.
• Required to support commercial trading and deliver IT operations specific to wholesale power.

Delivery Excellence & Service Delivery

• Proven track record in Delivery Excellence and Service Delivery for complex IT operations.
• Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end IT operations, specifically in incident management, release management, and batch processes.

IT Operations Management

• Experience overseeing IT operations, including managing onshore and offshore resources, coordinating security patching, and handling audit processes.

Technical Leadership

• Ability to act as a point of contact for critical incidents and provide regular updates to leadership on status and metrics.
• Strong leadership skills to coordinate with both client and Accenture teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with third-party cloud providers like AWS or GCP.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Core Responsibilities

• IT Operations Management:
  Oversee IT operations for wholesale applications, ensuring SLA adherence and managing incident/problem resolution.
• Batch Process Management:
  Ensure end-of-day and month/year-end batch processes are completed smoothly.
• Change & Release Management:
  Manage release schedules, secure change approvals, and support both on/off cycle releases.
• Client Relationship Management:
  Act as a key point of contact for critical incidents and provide metrics to leadership.
• Audit & Compliance:
  Participate in audits and oversee security patching and compliance activities.
