Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Event Management and AIOps engineers with strong hands‑on expertise in Big Panda, including migration from legacy platforms such as Micro Focus / Ops Bridge NOI.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operationalizing Big Panda in large‑scale production environments, with emphasis on event correlation, noise reduction, integrations, and driving operational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Big Panda Implementation & Migration

* Lead end‑to‑end Big Panda implementations in enterprise environments

* Drive migration from Micro Focus / Ops Bridge NOI to Big Panda

* Perform event source rationalization, policy redesign, and validation of correlation/suppression logic

* Design Big Panda architecture aligned to Operations and SRE needs

* Engineer event correlation, enrichment, topology, and alert intelligence

* Implement deduplication and suppression to reduce alert fatigue

* Configure incident creation, ownership, and lifecycle workflows

* Ensure high signal‑to‑noise ratio for operations teams

* Integrate Big Panda with monitoring tools (infrastructure, application, cloud)

* Integrate with ITSM platforms (e.g., Service Now) and collaboration tools

* Enable automated workflows for incident creation, updates, and closure

* Partner with monitoring and platform teams to onboard data sources

Platform Engineering & Operations

* Monitor and maintain Big Panda platform health, performance, and reliability

* Support go‑live, hypercare, and production stabilization

* Define runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides

* Participate in incident reviews and continuous improvement

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Core Skills

* Strong hands‑on Big Panda implementation and operations experience

* Proven migration experience from Micro Focus / Ops Bridge NOI

* Deep knowledge of event management, AIOps, and alert correlation

* Experience in large‑scale, production operations environments

* Event correlation, deduplication, suppression, and enrichment

* Topology‑based event management and root cause identification

* Incident lifecycle management with ITSM integration

Technical & Platform Skills

* Strong Linux/Unix and production operations experience

* Monitoring tool and data source integration expertise

* Familiarity with enterprise monitoring stacks (infrastructure, cloud, application)

Preferred / Good to Have

* SRE or Platform Engineering background

* Banking or regulated enterprise experience

* Cloud‑native monitoring and observability exposure

* Automation/scripting experience

* Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills

5-8 Years .

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
