Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar database-focused role.
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases, including extensive experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Mongo
DB, including a strong understanding of MQL, indexing, and the aggregation framework. - Proven experience in data modeling for both relational (Oracle) and No
SQL (Mongo
DB) databases. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with cloud-based database services such as Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, or Mongo
DB Atlas. - Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell for automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of other database technologies is a plus.
- Design, develop, and implement complex SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in an Oracle environment.
- Write and optimize advanced queries, views, and scripts to support application development and data analysis.
- Develop and manage data access layers and backend database logic.
- Design, develop, and manage collections and documents within our Mongo
DB environment. - Write efficient and complex queries using the Mongo
DB Query Language (MQL) and aggregation pipelines. - Implement and manage indexing strategies to ensure optimal performance for Mongo
DB collections. - Create and maintain logical and physical data models for both Oracle (relational) and Mongo
DB (No
SQL) databases. - Ensure database designs are scalable, reliable, and meet business requirements.
- Participate in database design and architecture reviews.
- Proactively monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for both Oracle and Mongo
DB. - Analyze query execution plans and tune SQL and MQL queries for maximum efficiency.
- Work with development teams to refactor and improve existing database code.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and integration between Oracle, Mongo
DB, and other systems. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across all database platforms.
- Assist with database administration tasks, including backups, restores, and security management.
