The Digital S/W Engineer Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. The role requires attention to detail in making judgments and recommendations based on factual information, and it has moderate but direct impact on the core business.

• Turn technical stack and application design into code on multiple development platforms, focusing on microservices.
• Apply established criteria to address problems, questions, or situations, using appropriate technologies to solve challenges and deliver features.
• Analyze and program application systems, including feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and implementation of new or revised applications.
• Develop, design, construct, test, and implement secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Operate autonomously with occasional oversight and direction and engage in digital applications development, risk technology, middleware, mainframe and non-mainframe applications, analytic model development, and application support.
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions for customer-exposed systems.
• Learn system functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties, including business requirements, runtime operations, and support strategies.
• Understand business context and customer use cases, evaluate system designs and architecture, and participate in solution discussions.
• Drive clarity into technical implementation through system build and performance discussions and represent the team’s systems to others.
• Build and maintain integrated project development schedules, accounting for dependencies, SDLC approaches, constraints, and contingency for delays.
• Negotiate features and priorities to help teams and customers reach consensus.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
• Maintain good relationships with team members, managers, and peers.
• Improve team development processes to accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality.
• Seek ways to objectively measure productivity using tools such as Sonar Qube, Findbugs, and automated code quality, performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD pipelines (RTC, Jenkins, RLM).
• Assess risk in business decisions, protecting the firm’s reputation and ensuring compliance with laws, rules, policies, and regulations. Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
• Experience preference with Open Shift, public cloud, AI tools, and No
  
  SQL databases.

• 0-5 years in an apps development role with demonstrated execution capabilities.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, data-driven and results-oriented.
• Experience running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services.
• Experience influencing large cultural change.
• Experience leading infrastructure programs.
• Skilled at working with third-party service providers.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience.

Primary location:
Irving, Texas, United States. Salary range: $84,580.00 - $ per year.
