SeniorIT Auditor
The Senior IT Auditor conducts audits of the information technology control design and effectiveness in accordance with authoritative sources including the Lennar Enterprise Security Office corporate standards;
Sarbanes Oxley (SOX);
Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT);
National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); and/or International Organization of Standards (ISO). The role manages audits, projects, activities, and remediation plans to mitigate information technology and security risks within LTS, assesses the IT control environment, and recommends enhancements to control activities, measures, and routines.
- Conduct internal IT audits and rigorous control self‑testing programs to ensure controls are designed adequately and working effectively to mitigate information technology and security risks.
- Audit, assess, and confirm that controls and processes are in place to manage IT risks in line with business priorities.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on IT policy, standards and frameworks, bridging the gap between control requirements, technical issues and business risks.
- Research changes in the industry, IT governance and external risk compliance landscape.
- Embed IT risk management practices in the enterprise and define systems and data criticality and sensitivity.
- Create corrective action plans for control weaknesses and provide guidance to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver key performance indicators on audit issue and control weakness closure rate; test and validate remediation action plans.
- Engage the Enterprise Security Office for security‑related control testing and remediation when warranted.
- Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders and mentor less experienced associates.
- Identify improvement opportunities within the area of responsibility and create implementation plans approved by senior leadership.
- Prioritize work based on business drivers and take ownership of changing priorities.
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understand the impact of business changes on IT and controls.

- Strong awareness and knowledge of cloud computing and security, governance, service management, and security best practices.
- Provide recommended actions to design and operate control measures and routines that comply with IT and security standards, policies and regulations.
- Understand all aspects of the system development lifecycle and influence methodology.
- Support and guide colleagues, align solutions with IT strategy and standards.
- Analyze requirements and advise stakeholders on technical solutions and controls for new or changed processes.
- Propose functional designs, alternatives and solution approaches to meet specific requirements.
- Independently solve complex problems in core technologies and understand interrelationships with other areas.
- Execute full system life‑cycle management activities including solution configuration, data mapping, test development, execution and system training.
- Lead small projects, ensuring requirements and timelines are met and issues are appropriately escalated.
- Provide level‑3 support functions and define solutions aligned with IT strategy and standards.
