Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Automation QA Lead to join our team.

Title: Mobile Automation QA Lead

Location: Irving, TX

Position type: W2 contract

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mobile automation testing efforts for our suite of mobile applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers to ensure high-quality mobile applications.
  • Define mobile automation testing strategies, best practices, and guidelines.
  • Implement and enhance mobile automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior members of the automation team.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in mobile automation testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on the status of mobile automation testing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on mobile application testing.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing mobile automation frameworks using tools such as AccelQ or similar.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architectures, SDKs, and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in leading a team of automation engineers is a plus.
  • Good knowledge in JavaScript.
