Digital Deployment

Position Overview

We are hiring a Digital Consultant focused on dealer deployment of the digital products for Rental & Used equipment (, Customer Portal, Rental DMT, , MyUsed), growth of dealer adoption, customer registrations, and utilization.

• Partner and collaborate with dealers to drive deployment of the Rental & Used suite of digital tools and platforms, focusing on delivering customer and business value such as increased registered users, user engagement/utilization, online leads, and attributable sales across the customer lifecycle.
• Interact extensively with digital team members, data owners and analytics teams to understand capabilities, integration points, deployment status and provide business requirements to Cat Digital.
• Collaborate with dealers on digital assessment, giving recommendations and action plans to improve digital capabilities, processes, and online customer experiences.
• Provide supplemental tracking and reporting at individual dealer level to give actionable insights for digital experience improvement.
• Create and operationalize training resources for dealers to drive consistency across the dealer network.
• Gather VOC and VOB to support the digital roadmap for rental and communicate expectations and requirements to Rental & Used Digital Product partners in Cat Digital.
• Identify opportunities for lead process improvement with dealers.
• Actively stay in‑tune with the competitive digital landscape and leverage intel and deep customer understanding to define future capability and enhancement requests.
• May provide dedicated focus to a critical capability, industry, region and/or project; other duties as assigned.

• Effectiveness Measurement:

• Products and Services:
  Knowledge of major products and services and ability to apply knowledge appropriately.
• Relationship Management:
  Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, peers.
• Software Product Training:
  Ability to create and deliver training on implementation, operation and utilization of technology products and systems.

• Experience with rental, digital, and marketing dealer teams.
• Experience in digital marketing, technical marketing, product marketing, or consulting.
• Product support or digital product development experience with strong demonstration of digital capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, across all organization levels.
• Experience in rental and/or used equipment industry.
• Analytics and KPI acumen – able to understand data, derive insights and take action.
• Proven ability to influence without authority.
• Proficiency speaking and writing Spanish.
• Foundational knowledge of Caterpillar’s current digital capabilities and digital team operational model.

Location:

Dallas, TX | Peoria, IL | Cary, NC

Travel:
Up to 30%, domestic and international
