Director of Systems
At Neighborly, we’re looking for a proactive leader with technical systems expertise and project management skills to drive our Five Star Painting brand’s core platforms. The role involves owning performance and reliability for POS, CRM, websites, and call centres, shaping long‑term roadmap, handling critical system issues, and partnering to optimize tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Drive performance and reliability for POS, CRM, websites, and call centres.
- Lead system planning, release cycles, and long‑term improvements.
- Act as the primary lead for critical system issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with technology, vendors, and operations to drive tool adoption and optimisation.
- Streamline tools and processes to eliminate duplication across platforms.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools for data‑driven decision‑making.
- Manage external partners to ensure quality and aligned priorities.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise and training to franchisees and internal teams.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership in franchise or multi‑location systems.
- Expertise in managing vendor relations, system integrations, and operational workflows.
- Proven track record in strategic road‑mapping and cross‑functional coordination.
- Understanding of emerging AI applications (preferred).
- Proven leadership experience in a franchise‑based or multi‑unit environment.
- Deep expertise in system lifecycle management (POS, CRM, ERP, call centre platforms).
- Ability to diagnose complex system issues and drive long‑term solutions.
- Analytical mindset capable of building dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting data‑driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
- Positive, adaptable attitude—sense of humour.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s or MBA highly preferred.
Travel required (25%). Hybrid working model:
Monday–Wednesday in office, Thursday–Friday from home.
