Position: IBM DataStage / PIM Integration Specialist

About the Job

Capgemini is looking for an experienced IBM Data Stage Developer/Support Specialist with expertise in ETL development, API integrations, Product Information Management (PIM), data quality, and enterprise data integration platforms. The role involves supporting and enhancing data integration solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and ensuring high‑quality data delivery across enterprise systems.

Your Role
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support IBM Data Stage ETL jobs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Support data migration, transformation, and integration initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain API‑based integrations using Data Stage.
  • Integrate enterprise applications and external systems through APIs.
  • Monitor and resolve integration failures and performance bottlenecks.
  • Utilize P360 Rich Client tools for data search, validation, and imports.
  • Support product master data management processes.
  • Analyze source system data feeding P360 and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform Product Information Management (PIM) data analysis.
  • Understand ETL data sources and their impact on P360.
  • Identify data issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work with IBM Information Data Quality (IDQ) tools.
  • Implement data quality checks, validations, and monitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance standards.
  • Develop and maintain Snap Logic pipelines.
  • Support integration between cloud and on‑premise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing integrations.
  • Coordinate with business users, data teams, and Caterpillar stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with geographically distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
Required Skills
  • Minimum 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in Data Integration, ETL Development, and Enterprise Data Management.
  • At least 7+ years of experience with IBM Data Stage Development and Support.
  • Experience working in large‑scale enterprise environments supporting business‑critical applications.
  • Proven experience collaborating with global teams and business stakeholders.
Technical Skills
  • Strong IBM Data Stage Development and Support experience.
  • API‑based integrations using Data Stage.
  • Product 360 (P360) Rich Client expertise.
  • PIM (Product Information Management) data analysis.
  • IBM Information Data Quality (IDQ).
  • Data Quality concepts and implementation.
  • Snap Logic development and integration.
  • ETL architecture, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Data mapping, transformation, and validation.
Business & Soft Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with Caterpillar business teams.
  • Requirement gathering and business coordination.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working within global delivery models and distributed teams.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement) in Computer Science or Information Technology

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $76,000 to $187,000.
