HRIS Product Lead

About

The HR Systems organization seeks an HRIS Product Lead to provide operational leadership and product ownership for Workday HCM Core HR, Onboarding, and Security modules.

Location

Must be located within commuting distance of Irving, TX or Stamford, CT.

What you will do
  • Evolve the Core HR, Onboarding, and Security technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with HRIS leadership, HR business owners, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain relationships with key business partners to ensure visibility and collaboration for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Drive and maintain Workday Core HR, Onboarding and Security capabilities within the HR Systems team.
  • Own and execute system administration for Workday, including configuration, business processes, security & compliance, notifications, auditing and data quality management.
  • Lead vendor‑led releases and system enhancements, including configuration and development of new features, deployment, and creation and execution of test plans, user acceptance and regression testing.
  • Support operational excellence in existing systems of record, continuously evolving processes, ensuring priority resolution of issues and applying project management principles for longer‑term initiatives.
  • Manage bug/issue resolution processes: root cause analysis, impact analysis, solution design, implementation, testing and deployment.
  • Support Reporting & Analytics team in defining and testing report & dashboard needs, including requirements gathering, design and testing.
  • Configure, test and process mass data loads via the Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
  • Support compliance enablement via HRIS systems and processes, including liaising with key contacts to understand regulatory changes.
  • Execute quality assurance to ensure accuracy of data and information.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with functional subject matter experts, IT and users.
  • Support broader HR Systems team in handling end‑user inbound requests and escalations, and develop knowledge‑management collateral for training and education efforts.
What you will need
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and managing Workday HCM and other HR systems, including business processes, data structure, domain & BP security, EIBs, reporting & calculated fields, data auditing.
  • Experience in other Workday areas (position management, talent/performance, compensation, benefits, absence, time tracking) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HR business processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience developing reports and calculated fields in Workday.
  • Strong service orientation with ownership and accountability.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Strong work ethic and motivation to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
  • Exceptional time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • 'Systems' thinker with process orientation and attention to detail.
  • Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • High level of executive presence.
  • Change management experience preferred.
