Scrum Master 4 – Contingent

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Scrum and Agile delivery. You will facilitate Agile execution, coach teams on Scrum principles, drive continuous improvement, and partner with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, and Architects to deliver strategic technology initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile frameworks, enterprise technology delivery, and stakeholder management within large-scale organizations.

Location:

Charlotte, NC / Irving, TX – Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Contract Length: 12 months (strong likelihood of extension up to 24 months; possible conversion)

Pay Rate: $67 - $72

Top Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Scrum Master / Agile delivery experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong experience leading Scrum ceremonies, Agile execution, and delivery management
  • Experience supporting technical teams with dependencies, risks, technical debt, and Agile SDLC processes
  • Plusses:

    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
    • Experience with cloud platforms, Dev Ops environments, or enterprise technology programs
    • Prior engineering, QA, or software development background

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Lead all Scrum ceremonies including:
      • Sprint Planning
      • Daily Standups
      • Sprint Reviews/Demos
      • Sprint Retrospectives
      • Quarterly Planning Sessions
    • Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners
    • Track sprint performance and delivery metrics including velocity, burndown, burnup, cycle time, and throughput
    • Manage sprint execution and ensure achievement of sprint goals
    • Identify, track, and remove team impediments and delivery blockers
    • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts
    • Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to support delivery plans and resource forecasting
    • Assist with management of:
      • Technical debt
      • Vulnerability remediation efforts
      • Environment and infrastructure issues
      • Release and deployment risks
      • Software and hardware lifecycle management
    • Support technical discussions involving architecture, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies
    • Promote Agile best practices, team self-organization, and continuous improvement
    • Communicate progress, risks, and delivery updates to stakeholders and leadership
