SR WMS Engineer

Our top client is seeking a Senior Blue Yonder WMS Engineer to drive functional and technical design, solution delivery, and continuous improvement of the Blue Yonder WMS platform. This individual will be accountable for executing integrated technology delivery, collaborating across IT, business, and distribution center teams to ensure warehouse operations run at peak efficiency.

This is a direct-hire position located in Irving, TX, offering Friday’s remote.

• Design, configure, customize, and optimize Blue Yonder (BY/JDA) WMS solutions to support warehouse operations and business requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot WMS configurations, application code, data, and system logs to identify root causes and drive resolution.
• Develop and maintain integrations between BY WMS, ERP, TMS, and other enterprise systems using APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and EDI.
• Support WMS implementations, upgrades, deployments, testing, and production rollouts across development, QA, and production environments.
• Create functional specifications, technical documentation, and test plans; support QA/UAT activities.
• Partner with business stakeholders, distribution center teams, and IT teams to identify process improvements and optimize warehouse performance.
• Analyze warehouse data, inventory, and operational metrics to identify trends, improve efficiency, and support reporting needs.
• Develop training materials and documentation to support system enhancements and warehouse process changes.

• 5+ years working with Blue Yonder / JDA WMS; at least 1 full-cycle implementation as an Engineer or Consultant in Blue Yonder WMS cloud versions
• 2+ years of technical experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL); proficient in SQL
• Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Blue Yonder WMS modules
• Deep understanding of MOCA (Movement Oriented Component Architecture)
• Proficient in Java/J2EE and with expertise in designing and testing integrations using RESTful APIs, JSON, and SOAP
• Hands-on experience designing and developing Jasper Reports.
• Hands-on experience building and customizing pages using page builder frameworks.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing concepts
