Information Security Engineer 4 – Contingent (Findings Management Engineer)

Contract Length: 6 Months (Migration-Specific; Extension Unlikely)

Pay Rate: $69 - $74

Top Requirements

  • Experience with Wiz or similar CNAPP (Cloud Native Application Protection Platform) tools
  • Strong cloud security experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Python, Power Shell, Bash, or Terraform automation and scripting
  • Experience supporting vulnerability management, findings management, and cloud security operations
  • Strong reporting, analytics, and dashboard development skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

Plusses

  • Microsoft Defender, Google Security Command Center, Aqua Security, Sentinel, or Hashi Corp Sentinel experience

Job Summary

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Engineering. As a Findings Management Engineer, you will support Wells Fargo's migration from Prisma Cloud Enterprise to Wiz CNAPP and help drive cloud security findings management across public and private cloud environments.

This role focuses heavily on cloud security alerts, findings remediation, reporting, automation, and stakeholder engagement. The engineer will work closely with cloud engineering teams, application owners, and security partners to identify, analyze, prioritize, and reduce cloud security risks while supporting enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support and administer the Wiz Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP)
  • Define, configure, and operationalize alerts and findings within Wiz
  • Analyze cloud security findings generated from:
    • Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP)
    • Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
  • Develop analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions using:
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
    • Similar reporting platforms
  • Build automation solutions utilizing:
    • Python
    • Power Shell
    • Bash
    • Terraform
  • Develop Python-based data pipelines to:
    • Download findings data
    • Merge datasets
    • Enrich security telemetry
    • Perform analytics and reporting
  • Support remediation tracking and findings reduction initiatives
  • Partner with engineering and application teams to resolve vulnerabilities and compliance issues
  • Support automation of findings remediation processes
  • Analyze cloud configuration drift and misconfigurations
  • Support container and Kubernetes security findings management
  • Participate in Agile team activities and sprint ceremonies
