SAP S​/HANA - IT Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to help a large defense customer through their enterprise transformation. The Senior Technical Delivery / Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise infrastructure initiatives, partnering closely with SAP development teams. You will coordinate and oversee both technical and business resources, including internal teams and external vendors, managing all aspects of project execution such as implementation efforts, process improvements, and organizational change activities.

This includes developing and maintaining detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring all work is completed on time, within scope, and aligned to technical and business requirements. You’ll actively monitor project performance, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular updates through stakeholder meetings, steering committees, and executive reviews.

Compensation: $70-75/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

• 8+ years as a Senior Technical Project Manager driving large, complex enterprise initiatives
• Strong background coordinating SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Experience across networking, VCAP, firewalls, and cloud technologies
• Hands‑on delivery across multiple project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)
• Proven ability to drive alignment and elicit cooperation from a wide range of stakeholders
• Proficient in Microsoft tools including Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiar with phase-gated project delivery processes
