Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
SAP S/4 HANA EWM Functional Consultant with minimum 7+ years of experience of implementing SAP S4, preferably for USA based manufacturing company
Proficiency in SAP’s standard implementation framework and hands‑on experience in designing and implementation of complex and heterogeneous landscape (SAP and non‑SAP)
Experience in conducting workshops with business users for process analysis, design and configuration needs to demonstrate EWM/WM functionalities
Extensive experience in planning data migration of EWM data objects and cutover strategy
Cut-Over activities identification and execution along with Go-live and Post Go-Live Support Experience of Integration with Planning system of SAP/non-SAP
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain functions in manufacturing
Extensive experience in testing and validation of End to End scenarios
Roles & Responsibilities- Requirements Analysis:
Gathering site‑specific "AS-IS" processes and mapping them to "To-Be" standard SAP workflows - Functional Testing:
Conducting unit/integration testing and coordinating user acceptance testing with site business process owners to validate configurations - User Training:
Delivering hands‑on training sessions and creating localized SOPs and manuals for site staff - Data Migration Support:
Assisting with the final validation of cleansed site data before it is loaded into live system - Warehouse Blueprinting & Mapping:
Conducting on‑site walkthroughs to translate physical plant layouts into SAP EWM structures, including storage types, sections and bins - Process Design & Configuration:
Analyzing complex business needs to design and configure scalable solutions for Inbound, Outbound and Internal warehouse movements - Strategy Implementation:
Configuring advanced logic for Putaway and Picking strategies, wave management and slotting to optimize material movement - Hardware & RF integration:
Managing the setup and troubleshooting of RF framework and mobile handheld scanners essential for real‑time tracking - Inventory Control:
Designing processes for physical inventory, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation to ensure high system accuracy - Cross functional integration:
Ensuring seamless data flow between EWM and other modules like MM, SD and TM - Generic Managerial Skills, If any
