Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pega Admin to Pega administration, design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade BPM and case management solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega application architecture, best practices, integration strategies, and performance optimization, and will play a key role in leading technical design and mentoring team members.
The SSA will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Pega applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • 6 years of dedicated experience in Pega PRPC system administration.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect is the MUST. (PCSSA)
  • Hands-on knowledge of application servers (Tomcat, Web Sphere, Web Logic) and container platforms (Open Shift, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Proficiency in RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2, MSSQL) and Linux/Windows administration
  • Configure, and maintain Pega nodes, clusters, and application life cycles (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
  • Plan and execute Pega platform version upgrades, hotfixes, and dependency updates.
  • Package application rules (RAP/Product Rules) and manage deployments using pipelines like Pega Deployment Manager or Jenkins.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Pega Diagnostic Cloud (PDC), Splunk, and Grafana; optimize JVM heap, thread pools, and queue processors.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for node failures, Kafka/stream issues, search indexing problems, and database bottlenecks.
Solution Design & Architecture
  • Design and implement end-to-end Pega solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Define application layer structure, class hierarchy, case types, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails and best practices.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance.
Development & Implementation
  • Develop complex case workflows, UI rules, data pages, decision rules, and integrations.
  • Implement REST/SOAP integrations, connectors, and services.
  • Configure and optimize decisioning, routing, SLAs, and business rules.
  • Implement security, access control, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Support Dev Ops practices including CI/CD and deployment automation.
Performance & Optimization
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Optimize database queries, reports, and background processing.
  • Ensure application scalability and high availability.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Provide technical leadership to Pega developers and System Architects.
  • Mentor junior team members and review deliverables.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
  • Work closely with Business Architects and stakeholders for requirement clarification.
  • Support UAT and production deployment activities.
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for architecture, integrations, and deployment processes.
  • Conduct guardrail compliance reviews and quality assurance checks.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of IT experience with Pega application development and minimum 3 years of hands‑on Pega development experience with constellation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA/SSA) certification – Mandatory
  • Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) – Preferred
  • Experience with:
    • Pega Customer Service / Sales Automation / Smart Dispute (if applicable)
    • Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
    • Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure Dev Ops, etc.)
    • Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
    • Microservices architecture
