We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure and highly available Hashi Corp Vault platforms.
This role involves automation of Vault provisioning, enforcing security best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable secrets management solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage secure, highly available Hashi Corp Vault platforms with minimal oversight
- Automate Vault provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Ansible and Terraform
- Develop and enforce standards for secrets management, authentication, authorization, and Vault best practices
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges including cloud-native and multi-cloud integrations, Kubernetes authentication, PKI hierarchies, replication, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, platform engineering, application teams, and vendors
- Troubleshoot complex issues such as high availability failures, unseal workflows, authentication issues, and secret engine configurations
- Implement advanced Vault capabilities including static and dynamic secrets, PKI engines, database secrets, and namespace management
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams on Vault best practices and onboarding
- Identify opportunities for automation, performance improvements, reliability enhancements, and security hardening
- Participate in on-call support as part of a rotational schedule
- 5+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering or related field
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Hashi Corp Vault in enterprise environments
- Proven experience in Vault design, deployment, and automation
- Experience with enterprise change management and compliance‑driven environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and Git Hub
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration
- Deep understanding of Vault lifecycle including installation, upgrades, high availability, scaling, and cluster maintenance
