Global AI Enterprise Architect Manager

To capitalize on growth in Microsoft’s Small and Midsize Enterprise segment, Avanade must scale with speed while reducing cost of sale by shifting from custom delivery models to more scalable, productized services.

We are seeking a hands‑on, execution‑focused Manager, Global AI Enterprise Architect to support the design, scaling, and integration of AI‑enabled solutions into our pre‑packaged services portfolio. This role partners across product management, engineering, and delivery teams to help develop solutions that can be executed with speed, consistency, and quality.

This role will contribute to enabling mid‑market clients to adopt AI capabilities at scale through reusable solutions integrated into existing business and technology environments.

• Experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or AI/ML solution delivery
• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem technologies including Azure, data, and Power Platform
• Experience supporting delivery of scalable and repeatable solutions
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and delivery teams
• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience working with AI‑enabled or productized service offerings
• Exposure to mid‑market clients
• Understanding of responsible AI and governance frameworks
• Experience contributing to proposals or solution shaping

• Provide leadership and oversight for AI solution architecture, ensuring alignment with client business strategies, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
• Translate business requirements into AI solution scope, value propositions, and scalable architectural designs in collaboration with AI teams and Solution Architects.
• Analyze client processes, systems, and data landscapes to identify AI transformation opportunities and recommend appropriate approaches based on client maturity.
• Lead solutioning activities including estimation, technical design, and proposal development across the pre‑sales and delivery lifecycle.
• Deliver AI engagements in roles including AI SME, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Provide governance, quality assurance, and best practice guidance across AI project teams related to delivery approach, design, and implementation.
• Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder meetings, and pre‑sales presentations to articulate AI value and solution approaches.
• Develop and contribute to AI assets, accelerators, and methodologies to enhance organizational capability and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate across global teams and partner ecosystems to share knowledge, drive innovation, and scale AI capabilities.

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate
• Travel including internationally, as needed
• Must already possess the appropriate visas and/or work permits required to live and work in the country the job is based.
