Active Directory Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory and Entra  to support and manage enterprise identity and access management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Entra  (Azure Active Directory), Virtual Directory Services (VDS), user provisioning, authentication, group policy management, and directory synchronization in a hybrid environment.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, security groups, organizational units (OUs), and permissions.
• Support and configure Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD) including Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance.
• Implement and maintain directory synchronization between on-premises Active Directory and Entra .
• Manage Virtual Directory Services (VDS) environments and identity integrations.
• Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and access-related issues.
• Configure and maintain Group Policies (GPOs) across enterprise environments.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management processes.
• Monitor directory services performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on identity-related projects.
• Perform access reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
• Create and maintain documentation for directory services and identity management processes.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra  (Azure Active Directory).
• Knowledge of Virtual Directory Services (VDS).
• Understanding of LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP, and authentication protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 identity management.
• Power Shell scripting for automation and administration.
• Experience with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Knowledge of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access policies.
• Experience troubleshooting hybrid identity environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00/hr.
