Job Summary

Our client, a leading technology and retail systems provider, is seeking a Senior Project Delivery Manager to join their team. This role will lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, products, and technology solutions, ensuring successful execution within scope, schedule, quality expectations, and business objectives. The position is based in Irving, TX, with onsite expectations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, products, and technology initiatives from planning through execution and release
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, roadmaps, and resource strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Apply backward-planning techniques to establish critical milestones, dependencies, execution paths, and delivery timelines based on target release dates
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, hardware, software, quality, operations, product management, and external partners
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while driving accountability across teams
  • Facilitate project planning sessions, status reviews, steering meetings, and executive updates while managing competing priorities and trade-offs
  • Support release readiness, validation, deployment planning, stakeholder communications, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Project Management
  • Strong expertise in project planning, execution, scheduling, milestone tracking, and scope management
  • Demonstrated experience with risk, issue, and dependency management in complex cross-functional programs
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project delivery practices
  • Demonstrated ability to plan projects backward from target delivery dates and develop executable schedules
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills within highly matrixed environments
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)
  • Experience managing hardware deployment and release cycles
  • Experience coordinating hardware and software integration programs
  • Experience managing complex technology programs involving hardware, software, engineering, and external partners
  • Experience with Store Systems or retail technology environments
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet
  • Experience with release management, deployment planning, and release readiness activities
  • Experience driving continuous improvement of project planning and delivery methodologies

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range:
The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $65.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
