JOB SUMMARY
Manages gas and equipment vendors for cost savings and performance. Facilitates new vendor/product qualification for final approval. Manages supplier risks. Strong negotiation skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Negotiation skills to provide the best possible pricing and terms on purchased goods.
- Develop product knowledge for area of responsibility.
- Contract skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Work Experience:
4-6 years. Strategic Sourcing experience required. - Negotiation skills training: 1-3 years preferred.
- Negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for generating and working with reports.
- CPM Certified.
- Purchasing Manager Preferred.
