Job Description
We are seeking a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category management initiatives across indirect spend categories. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage RFPs, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver cost savings and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including category strategy development, RFI/RFP execution, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and implementation.
- Manage indirect spend categories and identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and supplier optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, align sourcing strategies, and drive consensus.
- Analyze spend data, market trends, and supplier proposals to support sourcing recommendations.
- Facilitate supplier negotiations and contract implementation activities.
- Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers to support long‑term value delivery

- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-7+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
- Experience leading RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract implementation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using spend and supplier data to drive decisions.
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP, Ariba, Oracle
