Job Description & How to Apply Below

North Mark Strategies is a leading investment firm, combining capital, innovation, and engineering to drive long-term value. From operating complex businesses to backing breakthrough technologies, our mission is to build enduring businesses. Our team combines intelligent risk-taking, operational excellence, exceptional talent, and world-class computing capacity to create shareholder value.

Our company offers a dynamic environment where individuals have the freedom to lead companies toward bold achievements by embracing innovation, leveraging technology, and fostering differentiated business strategies. Our values are Integrity, Ability, and Energy, and the company aims to hire individuals who possess those qualities.

The Position

We are seeking an Inventory Supply Chain Consultant, High Performance Compute (HPC) in Dallas to lead inventory management and supply chain operations supporting large-scale compute infrastructure. This role owns end-to-end inventory administration — record accuracy, item master data, replenishment, demand planning, and reporting — across warehouse and data center environments, ensuring materials and equipment are available to meet deployment schedules and operational demand.

This is an execution-focused role centered on inventory control discipline, master data administration, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate pairs strong inventory management fundamentals with a data-driven approach to forecasting, stocking strategy, and process efficiency, and partners closely with Procurement, Operations, and suppliers to keep material flowing accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day inventory operations and administration — record accuracy, item master data, serial tracking, unit-of-measure, and location management across ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Manage replenishment and stocking strategy: monitor availability, set and maintain reorder points and safety stock, and coordinate inbound material to support deployment schedules and operational uptime.
  • Lead cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation; investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to maintain high inventory accuracy standards.
  • Develop processes related to demand planning and forecasting — analyze consumption trends, lead times, and usage patterns to optimize stock levels, reduce shortages, and minimize excess and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate supply chain execution with Procurement, suppliers, and logistics partners — track purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times, and expedite to resolve shortages and bottlenecks.
  • Identify and mitigate inventory and supply chain risks, including component availability, lead-time variability, and obsolescence, that may impact operations or deployment timelines.
  • Administer approved alternate and substitute items in partnership with Operations to maintain supply continuity and compatibility.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reporting and dashboards covering inventory health, accuracy, aging, turns, shortages, and movement metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement across inventory processes, warehouse workflows, and tracking procedures to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to support planning, reporting, and operational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, replenishment, demand planning, and inventory accuracy best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory management platforms, including item master data, cycle counting, and transaction management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform inventory analysis, forecasting, and supply/operational risk assessment.
  • Experience supporting data center, enterprise hardware, or other asset-intensive technical environments is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate across technical, operational, and supplier teams.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving operational demands.
