The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned areas. Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. This position works in a manufacturing environment of conditioned warehouse and office spaces with some exterior work, year round.

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and coworkers.
• Adaptable to customer and Supervisor’s needs.
• Repairs to and/or maintenance of walls, flooring, ceilings, roof, doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, lighting, etc.
• 5S Areas and documentation.
• Commitment to Continuous Improvement.
• Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
• Completes daily, weekly or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
• Demonstrated efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.
• Adheres to Aramark and client’s safety and security policies and procedures.
• Schedules and escorts contractors onsite.

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• MEWP Certification a plus but not required.
• Preventative Maintenance experience a plus.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
