You can apply directly to us by emailing us a copy of your resume to:  job summary we are seeking an experienced senior facilities maintenance technician with strong hands-on expertise in building management systems (client), building automation systems (client), hvac operations, and building controls to support facilities within laboratory, warehouse, and office environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating, managing, configuring, and troubleshooting client/client systems, analyzing building performance data, and maintaining critical mechanical and environmental control systems. While experience in laboratory, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments is preferred, it is not required. Candidates with strong client/client technical expertise from other industries will be considered, as laboratory-specific regulations and procedures can be taught.

This position will also support preventive and corrective maintenance, system performance improvements, vendor coordination, and facility compliance. Key responsibilities client/client operations & system troubleshooting operate, monitor, manage, configure, and troubleshoot building management systems (client) and building automation systems (client). Monitor building automation controls, system alarms, hvac performance, and environmental conditions. Troubleshoot system operations, controls, configurations, and equipment malfunctions. Analyze system trends and performance data to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.

Support system optimization, operational improvements, and overall facility reliability. Hvac & facilities maintenance perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hvac, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and environmental control systems. Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, lighting, security systems, and related building equipment. Monitor and maintain appropriate environmental conditions throughout laboratory, warehouse, and office areas. Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and facility modifications.

Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements to maintenance programs. Data analysis & reporting utilize microsoft excel to analyze building performance data, system trends, maintenance records, and troubleshooting findings. Prepare reports and power point presentations to communicate technical findings, operational performance, and recommended improvements. Document preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, repairs, and inspections using a computerized maintenance management system (cmms). Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and inspections.

Facility operations & vendor coordination coordinate with contractors, vendors, property management, and internal departments regarding facility maintenance and repairs. Monitor contracted work, verify service completion, and review related documentation and invoices. Support workspace modifications, equipment installations, and facility improvement projects. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other facilities technicians as needed. Collaborate with laboratory leadership, quality, and other departments to support operational requirements.

Safety & compliance support facility safety inspections and maintain required compliance documentation. Follow applicable osha, environmental, health, safety, and hazardous-material handling procedures. Travel between assigned locations as needed. Participate in after-hours/on-call coverage for facility emergencies, hvac issues, and client/client system alarms. Required qualifications high school diploma or ged required. 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably within critical or complex building environments.

3+ years of hands-on experience operating, managing, configuring, and troubleshooting client/client systems. Strong technical understanding of building automation, hvac controls, system operations, and environmental monitoring. Hands-on hvac maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
