Speedy Freight is expanding its U.S. franchise network. Founded in the UK, we are an award-winning logistics partner with a proven track record of success. As we continue our growth across the US, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Franchise Performance to support this next phase of expansion.
This high-visibility role is focused on driving franchise performance across sales, profitability, day‑to‑day operations, and brand compliance. Leading the franchise support team, you’ll work closely with franchise owners, support their development, and help ensure each location is positioned for sustainable success.

The Role at a GlanceAs Director, Franchise Performance, you will be a key strategic partner to the franchise network - driving performance, building capability, and supporting franchise owners throughout their entire lifecycle. From onboarding new franchisees to guiding early performance milestones, you will play a critical role in ensuring consistent, profitable execution of the Speedy Freight model.
Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Performance Ownership
- Own network-wide franchise performance, including sales growth, profitability, operations, and compliance
- Establish and manage KPIs, scorecards, benchmarks, and reporting frameworks
- Identify risks and opportunities across the network and implement targeted corrective action plans
Franchisee Coaching & Development
- Mentor and coach franchisees to drive revenue growth and operational excellence within their territories
- Conduct quarterly business reviews, tracking performance against agreed commercial objectives
- Support franchisees with infrastructure planning and ROI modelling aligned to their stage of growth
Onboarding & Training Delivery
- Lead and deliver onboarding training for all new franchisees
- Validate knowledge retention and ensure franchisees meet key milestones, particularly within the first 90 days
- Continuously refine training content based on early-stage franchise learnings and performance data
- Line manage and develop the team of Franchise Coaches (3 direct reports)
- Set clear goals, performance expectations, and coaching plans
- Own PDPs and enhance Coaches’ capability to influence franchisee behaviours and outcomes
Network Communication & Best Practice
- Document, share, and embed best-practice learnings
- Drive a clear and effective communication plan across the franchise network
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with both high-performing and at-risk franchisees
Internal Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work with senior leaders to ensure alignment between franchise operations and company goals
- Work cross-functionally with support teams including Accounts, Marketing, and IT teams
- Manage stakeholders effectively and gain buy‑in for operational or process improvements
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5-7+ years’ experience in franchise performance, ideally within a B2B service environment, supporting across both sales and operations
- Proven track record of owning performance across multi-unit or franchise networks
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to build, coach, and scale high-performing teams
- Commercially astute with experience delivering revenue to budget
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused mindset
- Passion for customer experience, innovation, and continuous improvement
