Under the supervision of Sr Dir, Support Centers and Special Events, the Director, National Support Centers will be responsible for the oversight of all National Support Centers. They will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day center operations of the Dallas Support Center including support of DSC functions, workshops, and meetings, to keep the center running efficiently ensuring the same standards are delivered within each facility.

In addition, they will oversee all support center vendor negotiations, contracts & relations, billing ensuring accuracy and that company procedures are followed.

Responsibilities
  • Models company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices base on the We Believe Behavioral Framework

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and keeps all process SOPs current

  • Manage and oversee the facilities Managers at the other Support Center locations

  • Provide any administrative support issues and liaison with the appropriate department head and other necessary people to resolve

  • Leads initiatives when collaborating with other National Support Centers to ensure consistency when implementing processes

  • Assess and report progress in meeting department imperatives and objectives

  • Coordinate all meeting/team member event details for the Dallas Support Center which includes contract negotiation; budget development; expense tracking; staffing assignments; food and beverage coordination; ancillary event management; registration services; team communication; event logistics; and post-event analysis

  • In partnership with Finance and Sr. Director of Facilities and Special Events, creates annual budget and manages all costs in alignment of the annual budget for all National Support Centers

  • Manages all local meetings with regards to space allocation and reservation of all meeting rooms

  • Develops and maintains an annual calendar of functions for the National Support Centers

  • Negotiates national service agreements to comply with strategic sourcing policies in the most cost-effective manner possible. (Contracts may be in other states or even multi-state vendors)

  • Monitor service contract relationships including service performance, quality, and take appropriate action to correct unsatisfactory results

  • Oversee all desk moves, locations, and additions within the DSC Support Center, which includes coordinating with Maintenance Department on all maintenance requests and review weekly any current, outstanding ticket items/invoices, and routine maintenance. May be required to resolve some routine maintenance

  • Manages design, contract negotiations, budget, and installation of all furniture buildouts in new and existing National Support Centers

  • Contributes to PDS’s facilities strategy and forecasting of space needs

  • Partners with construction on all furniture buildouts for all National Support Centers

  • Manages all Cap Ex expenditure for existing and future National Support Centers expansions or new builds

  • Maintain proper accounting and adherence to approved budgets for all expenses, in accordance with Company standards

  • Maintains compliance with all state dictated programs as it relates to the operation of the facility

  • Analyze current contracts and identify cost saving opportunities with competitor analysis and negotiation of rates and services

  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 8+ years’ experience in managing subordinates and teams. At least 5 years of leadership experience. In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience of Operations experience

  • Experience managing multiple facility locations is a plus

  • Training experience and/or applicable certifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong abilities in managing the daily operations of department(s) or work unit while developing short to medium term (1-3 years) goals
