Financial Manager, Operations Manager
Position Summary
Responsible for managing the monitoring and controlling facilities and associated equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations. The incumbent will supervise a team of 8 pipeline controllers and a lead pipeline controller.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities- Manages all control room activities and staff.
- Assign, supervise and direct work activities of assigned team members
- Responsible for performance evaluations of assigned team members
- Responsible for training and development of assigned team members
- Review work for compliance with local government, PHSMA, and DOT
- Ensures that petroleum products are safely transported
- Oversees the monitoring, controls, and directs the delivery of crude oil
- Ensures that crude oil has been delivered by way of the pipeline to its ultimate destination
- Oversees monitoring tank inventories, temperatures, line pressures, and meter counts
- Oversees monitoring pipeline performance and makes changes to the delivery and pump schedule as needed
- Ensures all work activities adhere to government regulations and rules
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED required, Preferred bachelor’s degree
- Five years’ experience leading a control room
- Proven analytical and judgment skills; extremely detail-oriented; high level of communication and interpersonal skills; must be an independent thinker with the ability to make sound, logical decisions in a multi-tasking work environment
- Proficient in SCADA and associated communication systems
- Performs basic math
- Proficient in reading scales, graphs and charts
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficient with MS Office
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test and background check
- Current valid driver's license
