Summary:
In this role, you will lead Purchased Services Consulting teams to implement strategic solutions that deliver measurable cost savings and operational improvements for healthcare clients. You will ensure project execution meets or exceeds contractual obligations, including savings guarantees, while fostering strong client relationships and driving high satisfaction. You will partner with executive stakeholders to advance performance improvement initiatives and expand consulting services that create sustained value.
Responsibilities:
Lead Purchased Services Consulting teams in delivering cost savings and performance improvement engagements.
Direct complex analyses to generate strategic insights and solve multifaceted healthcare business challenges.
Oversee implementation of Vizient tools and technologies to ensure sustainable outcomes at client sites.
Cultivate and maintain C-suite client relationships to support retention and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior executive audiences with clarity and confidence.
Contribute to practice development through conference presentations, publications, and new product or service innovation.
Support business development efforts by generating leads and participating in sales pursuits and closing activities.
Monitor project performance to ensure alignment with contractual commitments and savings guarantees.
Coach and develop consulting team members to enhance capability and engagement quality.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred. (e.g. MSN, MHA, MBA, or equivalent). Advanced degree preferred.
7 or more years of relevant experience required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Progressive healthcare experience including clinical leadership and system-level operational responsibility preferred.
Demonstrated success leading complex performance improvement initiatives within healthcare systems.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive change.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
