About the Company

GoAuto Insurance Co, a leading name in the Non-Standard Personal Automobile Industry, is seeking a Casualty State Manager to oversee operations in Texas, Nevada & Georgia. This role will be instrumental in driving excellence across our casualty units, leading a dedicated team of managers, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

- Team Leadership: Manage up to 6 casualty managers, ensuring they are effectively staffed and supported.
- Compliance & Process Adherence: Ensure your team complies with state unfair claim practice acts, statutes, case law, and GoAuto processes.
- Operational Oversight: Monitor the demand log for timely action by managers and adjusters.
- Collaboration & Consistency: Work with the Litigation Manager and other state managers to ensure consistency and proper file handling.
- Audits & Reporting: Conduct monthly audits, manage team performance, and report results to the Chief Claims Officer.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, stay current on legislative changes, and manage claim assistants.
- Performance Management: Evaluate and manage performance, including addressing underperformance and making merit recommendations.
- Extensive Casualty
Experience:
Proven experience in casualty claims management, particularly in Texas, with good working knowledge of Nevada and Georgia. - Expertise in Claims & Legislation: Strong understanding of policy contracts, state statutes, and legislative updates related to automobile claims.
- Management
Skills:
10+ years of claims experience and 5+ years in a supervisory role, with a process-driven approach and excellent communication skills. - Education: College degree preferred.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze reports, perform trend analysis, and implement necessary changes for improvement.
