Position Overview
The primary function of this role is to support the Key Account Coordinator Supervisor in first level leadership and supervision of the Key Account Coordinator Team. This role will also provide administrative support to the Key Account Solutions Management Team, which includes, but is not limited to, scheduling meetings, internal and external correspondence, research, and the production of various reports.
Essential Functions- Assist Key Account Customer Support Manager in leadership and development of the Key Account Coordinators
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers’ needs and appropriately communicate needs to Key Account Solutions Manager, Operations, or other departments
- Foster an open line of communication via phone, email, and face-to-face with internal team members and customers
- Provide administrative support in following up with internal and external customers
- Manage and maintain the portfolio of each assigned account to assure current and accurate data
- Partner closely with multiple groups and departments
- Create a wide variety of weekly, monthly, and quarterly special reports for internal and external use
- Research causes of customer concerns and create resolutions
- Other duties as assigned
- Ground-level, daily support and leadership of the Key Account Coordinators
- Assist Key Account Customer Support Manager in validating the team’s administrative productivity
- Develop and direct initial onboard training for all new team members
- Provide close supervision and mentoring for all new team members
- Provide first level intervention and support for all escalated customer issues
- Make suggestions to Key Account Support Manager regarding process improvement and activity monitoring
- Assist Key Account Customer Support Manager with ongoing team training opportunities
- Assist Key Account Customer Support Manager in the production of SOPs and other process documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Independent and self‑motivated
- Ability to work some flexible hours/overtime
- Professional caliber of communication skills
- Ability to connect with and partner with management in multiple departments
- Ability to balance multiple tasks
- Ability to read and understand communications in Excel spreadsheets
- 5+ years of administrative experience
- Previous supervisory and leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- There are no special physical requirements for this position
- General office environment with periods of sitting and light lifting
- Occasional extended hours may be required to meet business needs
