Vice President of Operations – Aire Serv

The Vice President of Operations is responsible for directing, administering and coordinating operations to support the policies, goals and objectives established by the President.

• Support the President in the development, operation and promotion of the company’s business and brand.
• Assist the President in executing short‑term and long‑range plans, budgets, and corporate growth objectives.
• Help lead the franchise system to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) budgets.
• Drive year‑over‑year same‑store sales growth by providing overall leadership, direction and guidance across the franchise system.
• Establish operating policies consistent with broad company policies and ensure their execution.
• Develop and enhance the uniqueness of the “brand” or “system.”
• Regularly evaluate the results of overall operations and franchisee businesses, and report the results to the President.
• Hire, develop, oversee, and manage a staff of Franchise Business Coaches and other support personnel as assigned.
• Work with Franchise Business Coaches to monitor franchisee financial performance, develop budgets, operating plans and provide necessary support.
• Develop and report on key performance indicators for franchisees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations governing business operations.
• Develop and implement procedures and tools to promote communication and adequate information flow between the company and its franchisees.
• Assist in regional meetings, franchise coach meetings, staff training sessions and initial training classes for new franchisees.
• Support the annual Neighborly® Reunion and encourage franchisee participation.
• Assist the Legal department on related company matters and maintain a thorough understanding of the Franchise Agreement and related FD&D.
• Support the Compliance Department with the collection of franchisee receivables and required documentation when requested.
• Evaluate and develop new service and product offerings, working with the company’s product vendors and managing vendor relationships.
• Perform other duties as required, including assignments in other job classifications.

• Minimum of five years of operations experience, preferably in a franchise and/or retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience as a team leader, establishing vision, direction and motivating members to achieve goals.
• Strong people leadership and talent development experience, including coaching high‑performing teams and multi‑level leaders.
• Goal‑setting capabilities with success measuring and driving performance through key metrics and accountability.
• HVAC operations experience, including field operations, service delivery, technician productivity and operational best practices.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to persuade individuals at all levels.
• Strong financial acumen: managing P&L, interpreting financial statements, utilizing operational metrics.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret profit and loss statements, balance sheets and basic business law.
• Experience utilizing Service Titan or similar field service management software.
• High computer literacy with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
• Willingly relocate to Dallas, TX or be prepared to travel up to 50% if not located there.
• Business degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university.

Full‑time (Monday‑Friday). Possibility for remote for the right candidate. Hybrid working model:
Monday‑Wednesday in‑office in Dallas, TX (500 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX);
Thursday/Friday from home. Competitive pay commensurate with experience. Equity and annual bonus opportunities.
