Pipe & Structural Welders

AtWork Personnel is seeking experienced Structural & Pipe Welders for a growing steel manufacturing facility in the Irving, TX 75062 area.

• Structural Welders: $21–$22/hr

• Pipe Welders: $24–$25/hr
  Schedule:
  Monday–Friday, 50–60 hrs/week (OT required)
  Occasional Saturdays (3–4 times/year)

We are seeking highly skilledPipe and Structural Weldersproficient inMIG, TIG, Fluxcore, or Stick welding.
Candidates must be able to pass a6G pipe testandDestructive/Non-Destructive testing.

• Weldpipe and structural steel (1" to 48")toASME,API, and100% X-Raycode standards

• Perform welds in various positions on code materials

• Proficient in reading and interpretingblueprints, including layout and fit-up

• Cut and prep materials usingflame/plasma torches, saws, grinders, and measuring tools

• Operate shop equipment:

  • Iron worker

  • Overhead crane

  • Rigging gear

  • Pipe threading machine

  • Tube bending machine

  • Pneumatic hand tools

• Assemble and fabricate components with minimal supervision

• Promote asafety-first, productive work environment

• Must be ateam playerwith a positive attitude and willingness to improve processes

• Must pass 6G Pipe Welding Test

• Minimum2–3 years of welding experienceor completion of welding school

• High school diploma or GED

• Certified to weld on pipe or plate

• Ownwelding hoodandsteel toe bootsrequired (not provided)

• Comfortable working inhot environments(fans only – no A/C)

• Must be willing to workmandatory overtime(50–60 hours/week)

• Frequently bend, squat, climb, stoop, twist, and reach

• Lift up to25 lbs frequently, and up to50 lbs occasionally
