Wastewater Treatment Operator

• Perform daily rounds of waste treatment system documenting issues as they arise
• Perform regular maintenance of waste treatment equipment
• Troubleshoot the waste treatment system, address mechanical issues, including but not limited to motor swaps and pump repairs
• Take water samples daily and analyze for pH and metals concentration (adjust chemical dosing as required)
• Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the waste treatment system as needed to ensure proper care and operation
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment outside of the waste treatment and assist the maintenance team as needed
• Communicate any alarms/issues to supervisor as to prevent any untreated discharge to the water company
• Take weekly samples to the lab for analysis and regulatory compliance
• Maintain all chemical levels and order replenishments as needed

• Minimum 3 years related experience
• High School Graduate or equivalent
