Picking Material Processor Lead

This position is located in the Irving, TX DCC and requires working Monday–Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm. The role is responsible for collaborating with supervisors, training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met, and adhering to work instructions for the area of responsibility.

• Working knowledge of shop floor systems (CVision, Oracle, Unit Tracker, Great Plains, Ghost)
• Participate in daily stand‑up meetings with supervisor
• Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
• Work with supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products) as needed to meet customer goals
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper workflow
• Act as point of contact for employees regarding escalation issues
• Work with engineering to identify and resolve process issues
• Coordinate with other departments within their area of responsibility
• Track and maintain daily attendance roster for emergency evacuation purposes
• Participate with the 6S audit team on monthly 6S audits
• Implement changes or adjustments on the production floor as a result of audits
• Forklift certified if needed for the area of responsibility
• Perform on‑the‑job refresher training and workstation assessment
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP aging) for specific area of responsibility
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and report issues or concerns to supervisor
• Communicate effectively with all levels of employees
• Be proficient and certified in the area responsible for leading
• Compile and analyze data
• Complete daily reports
• Train and coach associates as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of previous light manufacturing experience
• Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations
• Strong team player who will thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Database software – data entry in existing programs
• Spreadsheet software – Microsoft Excel, basic understanding and data entry into a pre‑formatted spreadsheet
• Word processing – Microsoft Word, basic documents and reports

Pay Range: $17.34 - $27.75
