Primary Job Title: Pipe Welder

Location: Irving, Texas

Contract Details:

Employment Type: Full-time (40+ hours per week).
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM; must be able to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
Compensation: $18-$25 per hour, based on experience.

Job Summary:

A skilled Pipe Welder is needed to join a team in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will proficiently perform various welding processes to fabricate and weld pipe and structural steel components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, flux-core, or stick welding processes on pipes and structural steel ranging from 1" to 48" in diameter, adhering to ASME and API codes.
Fabricate finished metal products, including fittings and pipes, according to blueprints and specifications.
Position and secure work pieces, using appropriate tools and equipment, to prepare for welding.
Conduct weld tests and inspections, including destructive and non-destructive examinations, to ensure weld quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols.

Required Experience:

3+ years of experience with MIG and TIG welding processes.
3+ years of experience welding pipes.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Experience with flux-core and stick welding processes.
Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

Proficiency in flux-core and stick welding techniques.
Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.
Ability to operate various fabrication equipment and tools.
