Primary Job Title: Pipe Welder
Location: Irving, Texas
Contract Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time (40+ hours per week).
- Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM; must be able to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
- Compensation: $18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
A skilled Pipe Welder is needed to join a team in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will proficiently perform various welding processes to fabricate and weld pipe and structural steel components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, flux-core, or stick welding processes on pipes and structural steel ranging from 1" to 48" in diameter, adhering to ASME and API codes.
- Fabricate finished metal products, including fittings and pipes, according to blueprints and specifications.
- Position and secure work pieces, using appropriate tools and equipment, to prepare for welding.
- Conduct weld tests and inspections, including destructive and non-destructive examinations, to ensure weld quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
- 3+ years of experience with MIG and TIG welding processes.
- 3+ years of experience welding pipes.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with flux-core and stick welding processes.
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proficiency in flux-core and stick welding techniques.
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and practices.
- Ability to operate various fabrication equipment and tools.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Good attendance record.
- Weekly pay.
