Machine Operator - Hollow Metal

What you will do

• Set up and operate a variety of sheet metal working equipment to perform diversified sheet metal fabrication to fairly close tolerances following established methods.
• Weld various types of metals and alloys in vertical, horizontal and overhead positions for high pressure and strength requirements.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and monitor processes for quality and accuracy, documenting operations performed.
• Verify all operations have been inspected and completed before moving completed items to the next work cell.
• Organize and maintain the work area and maintain all equipment as instructed by the preventative maintenance documentation.
• Perform routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
• Some shipping and receiving duties as well.

• Fabricating experience (preferred).
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle complex issues and problems.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass all required drug screen and background checks.
• Team player attitude.
