Quality Technician – Hourly – Irving, TX Job Description
- Performs final inspection audits to customer requirements and SDI industry standards
- Maintain and complete inspection records
- Conducts layered process and other internal manufacturing audits
- Record quality defects and report deficiencies
- Read and understand mechanical prints
- Check production work orders for clarity and verify quality against actual product
- Working knowledge of developing work instructions and control plans
- Analyze and support improvements for scrap and rework through corrective actions; communicates with manufacturing, order entry or other departments to resolve issues
- 3+ years’ experience in quality or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to hand multiple projects at once
- Must be able to use calipers, squares, and tape measure
- Must be able to use software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Written and oral communication skills
- Must be available for overtime when necessary

The expected Base Hourly Range: $18.00-$22.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
