Essential Duties & Responsibilities include machine setup & operation.
Essential Functions- Creates/sets up programs
- Set up and operate machinery as assigned by supervisor
- Ensure machinery is set up properly at the beginning of the shift
- Ensure proper maintenance is performed on machinery before and during operation
- Check to see machinery is heating to the correct temperature, if applicable
- Ensure machinery is being operated in a safe manner
- Keep the work area clean
- Communicating with management when there are concerns with Production Safety Employee relations
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client
- Ensures product is in compliance with customer requirements
- Ensure the correct supplier is cut in accordance with customer specifications
- Display positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist
- Must be available to work overtime as required
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Entry level.
