Essential Duties & Responsibilities include machine setup & operation.

• Creates/sets up programs
• Set up and operate machinery as assigned by supervisor
• Ensure machinery is set up properly at the beginning of the shift
• Ensure proper maintenance is performed on machinery before and during operation
• Check to see machinery is heating to the correct temperature, if applicable
• Ensure machinery is being operated in a safe manner
• Keep the work area clean
• Communicating with management when there are concerns with Production Safety Employee relations
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client
• Ensures product is in compliance with customer requirements
• Ensure the correct supplier is cut in accordance with customer specifications

• Display positive attitude and teamwork skills
• Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist
• Must be available to work overtime as required
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Entry level.
