Summary:
The Automation & Autonomy Site Technology Consultant helps advance construction remote control and autonomy solutions by validating customer needs, prioritizing value-driven requirements, and supporting adoption that delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.
What You Will Do (Job Duties):- Capture, define, and prioritize unmet customer needs for remote control, task autonomy, and site autonomy based on customer value, business impact, and expected site outcomes.
- Support product development as the commercial owner by building and validating business cases, defining requirements, shaping business models and ensuring site technology solutions deliver intended customer outcomes.
- Lead customer validation and field learning through early learner and field-follow engagements, customer visits, and real-world performance feedback.
- Partner with commercial, Go-To-Market and development teams to align priorities, manage the construction remote control and autonomy roadmap, and support adoption and utilization growth.

Applies technical knowledge to solve challenges and support effective technology solutions. - Industry Knowledge:
Understands construction industry trends, products, regulations, and customer needs. - Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Analyzes information, evaluates alternatives, and makes sound decisions using informed judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree highly preferred.
- Extensive experience working directly with customers, dealers, or cross-functional commercial partners to understand needs and define solutions.
- Familiarity with product development processes, including translating customer requirements into functional requirements and solution outcomes.
- Ability to represent the customer perspective throughout the development process to ensure solutions deliver intended value and site outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence engineering and development teams using customer-back insights and business priorities.
- Experience deploying technology solutions in construction, industrial and waste, quarry, mining or related industry segments.
