Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician (Medical Devices) to join their dedicated team. As an Electro-Mechanical Technician (Medical Devices), you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician (Medical Devices)
Location: Irving, TX
Pay Range: $20-$21hr
Shift: 1st shift-6:00am - 2:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment
- Assist in mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices
- Read, comprehend, and follow detailed written procedures and verbal instructions
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and complex test procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes
What's Needed?
- Experience with electronic assembly and testing in a medical device environment preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of experience with electromechanical assemblies or electronic manufacturing
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electronic equipment and building/testing electronic assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
