Overview

Summary: In this role, you will lead the development and execution of scalable customer advocacy programs that elevate the voice of Vizient s clients and showcase the real-world impact of Vizient solutions. You will partner cross-functionally to identify, engage, and activate client advocates, translate customer success into compelling stories, and integrate the client voice across marketing, thought leadership, campaigns, and events.

You will combine relationship management, marketing strategy, and operational rigor to strengthen client engagement, differentiate Vizient in the market, and reinforce Vizient s reputation as a trusted partner in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer advocacy strategy aligned with enterprise marketing, brand, and sales goals.
  • Define and operationalize an advocacy model across diverse client types, including health systems, networks, and community hospitals.
  • Lead and evolve the customer advocacy platform to enable scalable capture, management, and activation of client stories.
  • Build and manage an enterprise framework for identifying, recruiting, and nurturing client advocates.
  • Partner with marketing, communications, thought leadership, and business units to co-create compelling client case studies and success narratives.
  • Integrate client voice into campaigns, product launches, digital channels, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Establish and manage a client speakers bureau to support national and regional events.
  • Collaborate with account leadership, legal, and client services to ensure strong relationships, compliance, and consent for storytelling.
  • Implement governance, workflows, and prioritization for references, testimonials, and advocacy engagement.
  • Track and report advocacy KPIs in partnership with Revenue Operations to measure impact on engagement, pipeline, and reputation.
Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience leading customer advocacy, client marketing, or voice-of-customer programs in B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling enterprise-level advocacy or storytelling programs.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare client audiences, particularly senior health system leadership.
  • Excellent storytelling, written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with advocacy platforms, CRM systems, and content management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Estimated Hiring Range: At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $. This position is also incentive eligible.
