Balfour Beatty is seeking a Senior Marketing Project Lead to join our Texas division. This individual will have the option of living in Austin or Dallas.

The Senior Marketing Project Lead manages marketing and communications projects such as proposals, presentations, advertising, brochure development, events, direct mail, or other marketing campaigns. This individual also ensures adherence to company policies, consistency in messaging, and coordination of efforts in alignment with the Balfour Beatty Corporation brand. The Senior Marketing Project Lead provides support services for acquiring new business and for internal and external communications.

• Assist the Marketing Manager or Director with department administration activities (workflow and processes, delegating responsibilities among team members).
• Lead the preparation of responses to requests for proposals, qualifications, and other information required (schedule, plan, strategy, assignments, follow-up, editing, meetings, review, etc.).
• Work with executives and business unit leaders to support the company’s visibility in target markets.
• Contribute ideas and development in the strategic planning process.
• Manage budget and financial accountability for projects as assigned.
• Continuously improve boilerplate proposal information and presentations.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure efficiencies in sharing and archiving resumes, proposals, presentations, graphics, debriefs, etc.
• Assist with presentation strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors and partners to support in-house resources and project pursuits.
• Lead internal and external communications projects, including awards nominations, announcements, newsletters, website, and direct mail.
• Coordinate photo shoots and industry association involvement to promote Balfour Beatty.
• Provide training and guidance to marketing staff.
• Participate in company vision updates and maintenance.

• Build effective relationships with customers, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups to reflect and support company values and meet or exceed customer expectations.

• This position offers the opportunity to work from either our Austin or Dallas office.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications or related field plus at least 7 years of experience, or 10 years of similar experience.
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines with incomplete information.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships and act with integrity.
