With 70MM+ card members, 6.5 billion annual transactions, and visibility across 700+ merchant categories, Citi has the scale, the trust, and the data infrastructure to compete at the highest level.

We're building Citi's Commerce Media business, from the ground up, and we’re looking for a marketing execution manager who can translate client objectives into clear audience strategies and effective creative. This role focuses on defining target audience requirements, shaping briefs, and managing creative execution to ensure messaging is relevant and impactful. You’re comfortable working hands‑on to refine targeting, guide asset development, and ensure campaigns are executed with precision.

As a Media Lead Analyst, you will lead strategic client engagements and drive revenue growth for the business. You will identify and execute against high‑value opportunities and shape the go‑to‑market strategy for the business and platform. This role will serve as a senior, externally facing leader for the business, owning advertiser engagement, shaping go‑to‑market strategy, and establishing Citi as a credible and differentiated commerce media partner with brands, agencies, and strategic partners.

As Citi scales this new area, the role will also bring deep commerce media expertise to inform decisions across strategy, monetization, platform capabilities, and measurement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop integrated media campaigns from inception to execution, including day to day management of multiple agencies and strategic oversight. Develop consumer focused and insight driven briefs and lead integrated agency briefing sessions.
  • Drive successful integration of campaigns across all marketing channels/touchpoints, ensure message is effectively executed across multiple paid channels and Citi properties. Manage cross functional teams in social, Public Relations, product, media, digital to ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage legal and product review process for all media creative while ensuring creative is clear, transparent and meaningful to consumers.
  • Effectively partner with internal business teams to manage expectations, solve for issues that may arise and consistently add value.
  • Provide guidance to internal business partners in the development of marketing materials, including providing a point of view on messaging, as well as guidance on media guidelines, imagery and ensuring consistency within Citi's mediating system.
  • Partner with and leverage research team to understand consumer insights for brief development and learn from media research as a way to consistently enhance campaigns.
  • Manage day‑to‑day relationship with our agencies and provide direction that is clear and based on concrete rationale.
  • Proactively solve issues to ensure consistently breakthrough, relevant, consumer‑centric creative.
  • Take ownership over competitive insights for your products/services – ensure working team is aware of new campaigns and implications for Citi.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
