Job OverviewCiti is evolving its current commerce offerings and branching into new avenues of growth by offering merchants access to high value card members across Citi's digital properties and partner placements. By combining Citi's scale, trusted customer relationships, and real purchase insights, the business delivers advertising that is relevant to customers and drives measurable, incremental impact for advertisers.
As the Strategy & Growth Analyst, you will support the development and execution of Citi Commerce's go-to-market strategy, market positioning, and competitive intelligence. You will contribute to how the business builds its presence and credibility in the commerce media landscape, helping translate strategic priorities into market-ready materials and actionable analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in defining and evolving the Citi Commerce value proposition by helping to articulate Citi's data, audience, and measurement advantages, including how card linked offers strengthen Citi Commerce's commerce media offering
- Support the creation of market-facing materials, including positioning decks, sell sheets, and market narratives, in partnership with PR and Marketing teams
- Support competitive intelligence and market research efforts, tracking the commerce media landscape and synthesizing findings to inform Citi Commerce's positioning and strategic priorities
- Provide support for Citi Commerce's presence at key industry events and forums
- Prepare materials for internal executive forums, Steering Committees, and leadership reviews to support alignment and decision-making
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- 5-8 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, or a related field, with exposure to advertising, media, or adtech
- Ability to support the creation of market-facing materials and narratives
- Analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to assist in synthesizing information into clear insights
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to collaborate across teams
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Experience in commerce media, retail media, digital advertising, or financial services preferred
- Familiarity with card linked offers, loyalty, or merchant-funded offer models and how they complement advertising strategies
- Familiarity with the advertising ecosystem, including how brands, agencies, and media companies interact
- Exposure to project support or operational roles in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's/University degree required
