We’re looking for a driven, dedicated individual that is excited at the opportunity to join a winning team, and continue to drive home the culture of success that has been built. The Social Media Specialist will be focused on reaching and activating consumers through online and other emerging media.
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for entire social footprint of their 14 stores;
Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. - Community management and interactions via the 10 biggest social networks per store.
- Handle reactive and proactive approach to reputation management - responding to negative reviews across major channels and proactively seeking positive ones from customers.
- Social listening - working with a social listening tool to see what is being said about the stores by customers across their region.
- Directory listings - making sure nap alignment is being handled and all info that’s syndicated is correct.
- Work with digital advisors on SEO roll out pertaining to blogging, social bookmarking.
- Reporting to GM's on overall performance and ideas for future promos, events, opportunities, etc.
- Assess analytical data associated with site traffic, social engagement, and review activities.
- Curate on-linecontent to sharerelevant info to social media audiences to generate engagement.
- Motivation to be successful
- A minimum of 2yrs previous work experience in social media marketing
- Must have a college degree related to the field
- SEO copyright experience preferred
- Experience or interest within the automotive industry is a preferred
- Be able to create and maintain relationships with businesses and employees
- Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Office & Excel, Social Media business platforms)
- An understanding of media planning functions
- Maintain professional business attire and appearance
- Self-starter, takes initiative and ability to be a team player
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (drug test and background)
