Marketing Communications Manager

Our client is a growing national organization that provides commercial HVAC equipment, technical services, aftermarket support, and rental solutions through a network of industry-leading companies. They are hiring a Chicago based Marketing Coordinator who will work in-office with some hybrid flexibility.

Our client is seeking a Communications Manager to own internal and external communications across its portfolio of commercial HVAC operating companies and the corporate brand. This is a highly visible, senior contributor role reporting directly to the CMO, built for someone who can move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution — particularly around acquisition communications, media relations, and executive positioning.

• Develop and lead communications strategy that strengthens brand reputation and supports business growth.
• Serve as primary media contact; build relationships with HVAC and industrial trade publications to secure coverage.
• Craft press releases, executive announcements, and thought leadership content that translates complex business updates into clear narratives.
• Position leadership and subject-matter experts as trusted industry voices via interviews, bylines, and speaking engagements.
• Monitor brand perception and industry coverage; lead proactive/reactive reputation and crisis communications.
• Partner with OpCo brand marketing teams to integrate communications with broader marketing and business goals.
• Measure communications performance—media coverage, sentiment, and campaign effectiveness to refine strategy.
