Senior Marketing Communications Specialist Las Colinas, TX | On-site | $85,000–$95,000 DOE About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Communications Specialist to take ownership of executive and corporate communications for a well-established Dallas-based organization. This is a senior-level individual contributor role for a strong writer and storyteller who enjoys taking an idea from concept to finished communication.

The position will work closely with executive leadership and internal stakeholders to develop polished, strategic content across multiple channels. Approximately 70–80% of the role is focused on writing and content creation, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in corporate communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field who wants to remain hands-on in their craft.

This is not a traditional marketing coordinator or event-planning position. The person in this role will serve as a key resource for the organization's content and communications efforts, with significant ownership and visibility across the business. What You'll Do Create original executive and corporate communications from concept through completion Develop articles, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, press releases, website copy, email campaigns, social media content, and other corporate communications Repurpose major business initiatives, events, and announcements into multiple pieces of content tailored to different audiences and platforms Interview executives and internal stakeholders to uncover compelling stories, key messages, and relevant business insights Write with a clear understanding of audience, purpose, brand voice, and business objectives Ensure communications are polished, consistent, accurate, and aligned with the organization's brand Support corporate events through pre- and post-event communications and content development rather than event logistics Partner directly with leadership to develop high-quality content requiring minimal editing Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities and deadlines Take ownership of the content development process while collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization Identify opportunities to strengthen and expand the organization's communications across channels What We're Looking For 5–7+ years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field Bachelor's degree required, ideally in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline Exceptional business writing and storytelling abilities Demonstrated ability to create original content from scratch rather than primarily editing or coordinating contributions Experience developing communications for executives or senior leadership strongly preferred Ability to interview stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions, and turn conversations into meaningful content Excellent proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail skills Strong understanding of audience, messaging, brand voice, and business objectives Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a broad communications function Strong judgment and the ability to determine what information is meaningful, relevant, and worth communicating

Preferred Experience Experience creating content across several of the following:
Executive communications Newsletters Articles and editorial content Thought leadership Press releases Website content Email marketing campaigns Social media Corporate communications Marketing collateral

Experience with CRM platforms, email marketing tools, content management systems, graphic design software, or basic video editing is a plus.
